The internal power pack on my Canon Pixma IP3000 printer went out. Can it be fixed?
I was able to take off the cover and get to the internal power adapter. I suspect it is the problem, because normally the printer wont turn on, but 1 out of 10 times when I unplug and replug into the adapter it will turn on for 1 second before going off again.
Can this power pack be replaced/fixed? Suggestions???
the Geek Squad at Best Buy does great work. The real question is would the price of fixing it be worth it versus buying a new printer
