I looked in the instructions, and it says when you have an item in that box on the top of the screen, you hit select, and you will be able to use it. I’ve hit start, but it just pauses the game. The game is from the SNES series(i’m pretty sure that stands for super-nintendo system). I am using a Gamecube Controller instead of a classic wii controller. Is there a select button on the classic controller, because it says I can use the gamecube controller for SNES games.

The problem is the start button is not the select button, and its the game cube controller since start and select share a button on it…thats big brother Nintendo for you. Unfortunately the game was probably ment to be played with the classic controller even though you can play with the game cube controller.
I’m assuming you’ve tried pressing other buttons on the game cube controller.
